MY HOME, LLC. is a licensed Children’s Best Care Facility in Charlotte, North Carolina, providing residential and behavioral health services for children with complex developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health needs.
We serve children who often face limited placement options within traditional systems of care. Our home is built on structure, compassion, and individualized support.

Founded in 2023, MY HOME, LLC operates a licensed 3-bed children’s group home regulated by the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation.
We proudly support children who qualify for:
- NC Medicaid Innovations Waiver.
- 1915(i) Services.
- State-funded Home and Community-Based Services.
Our program is designed for minors with:
- Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD).
- Co-occurring behavioral health conditions.
- High-support care requirements.
We focus on long-term stability rather than short-term placement solutions.

MY HOME was founded by Daget Tegegne and Seble Kidanewold, parents of a child with complex special needs.
After experiencing firsthand the challenges of finding appropriate residential and community care, they committed to creating a home where children with similar needs would not be overlooked or discharged without options.
In 2025, MY HOME welcomed new executive leadership to strengthen the organization’s operational excellence and long-term vision, bringing extensive behavioral health leadership experience across North Carolina.
